Benefits of a Clinic Therapy

Centre based therapy is preferable for our clients as compared to home/school visits or telehealth. This is because we have all therapy resources available at our therapy centre whereas limited resources are brought for each home/school visit. This allows us to use a wide range of tools and resources with your child.

Parents/carers can also actively attend sessions to see what is being practiced and can bring home written program suggestions after each appointment for faster therapy progress. During the sessions, our speech therapists would be able to discuss various tools and techniques with parents to be practiced as home. This does not in any way indicate that a school visit or telehealth session is less effective, it merely provides us with a wider range of resources and a clear line of communication with carers/parent in regards to the best way to implement various treatment techniques.
